YWCA Membership

As a member of YWCA Canberra, you become a part of a global movement of 25 million women and girls across 125 countries around the world.

Join us in creating a world where reconciliation, justice, peace, health, human dignity, freedom and care for the environment are promoted and sustained through women’s leadership.

She Leads Conference attendees are offered a discount for becoming a YWCA Canberra member.

Full membership is for women, women-identifying and non-binary people aged 18 and over. Concession membership is for those aged under 18. Men are invited to join YWCA Canberra as non-voting associate members.

By applying for a YWCA Canberra membership you agree to the aims, values, and objectives of the association and agree to be bound by the terms of its constitution.

Your YWCA Canberra membership unlocks the opportunity to:

• Receive discounted tickets to our events and programs
• Nominate to be on our Board of Directors
• Participate in one of our Board Committees
• Apply to participate in the Board Traineeship Program
• Access opportunities such as the World YWCA Internships
• Access to the Great Ydeas Small Grants program

Signing up means you will also receive our eNews and YAction (you can unsubscribe at any time) and you will also be able to participate in the voting process at the Annual General Meeting (AGM), having a say in who will be on our board.

YWCA Canberra memberships run on a financial year calendar with an annual fee period from 1 July to 30 June the following year. New members are welcome at any time.
